Youth for Christ are looking for an inspirational and reliable trailblazer to work as their National Evangelist – CREATIVE.
The successful applicant will reach young people with the Good News of Jesus online and in person. Creating and promoting innovative content which will see young people take steps towards becoming life-long disciples of Jesus.
They will build an online platform using their gifting and skillsets which also invites others internally and externally be a part of the online community/platform with Youth for Christ to share the Gospel with young people across Britain.

Salary: £21,556 – £23,595
Hours: Full time (36.25 hours per week)
Location: Head Office, Halesowen
Holiday + perks: 20 days + 3 concessionary days + 8% pension
There is a genuine occupational requirement that the post holder is a committed evangelical Christian in accordance with Part 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.
The position is dependent on two suitable references, an enhanced DBS check and attendance at regular safeguarding training. Candidates applying for this role will be expected to comply with safer recruitment initiatives, including a self disclosure of any criminal history.
YFC staff develop a team of partners who support their work and the successful candidate will be required to raise a set target of personal support. While all YFC staff receive 100% of their salary, they are given a set target to raise through donors giving to Youth for Christ to help towards the cost of employment (personal support). The successful candidate will receive plenty of assistance and coaching to aid them in achieving their target. This role has a required support target of 50% salary costs.
Youth for Christ are big on culture; they know how to work hard but we also play harder! Throughout the year they hold many social activities like team days, summer BBQ’s, prayer walks, full team meetings, afternoon teas, movie afternoons, conferences, Christmas meal, social nights, table tennis and so much more!
Cultural activities will vary in this season due to COVID19, however they have been working on implementing socially distanced activities, whether face to face, over forms of technology etc. This will consistently adapt and change as they respond to the changes put into place by the government.
