Overview

Oddments Theatre Company are looking for a Performing Arts Intern. Each academic year, Odments Theatre recruit a limited number of voluntary interns to join their team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to perform as an actor in churches, schools and prisons in addition to being involved behind the scenes. They offer you a year of growing in your faith and your experience as an actor, as well as learning how a theatre company runs. You will gain valuable experience in promoting and organizing theatre shows. The internship will run from either March 2022-February 2023, or they can offer a start from September 2022-August 2023.

  • The successful candidate will have the opportunity to perform different genres of theatre from thought-provoking productions to children’s shows.
  • We also perform in prisons.
  • The role will involve general administration.
  • You will have the opportunity to promote and organize shows, which will give you insight into how a theatre company operates.
  • They anticipate that this role will involve around 60% acting and 40% administration.
